Connecting farmers, ranchers, and fishermen with area food buyers
The Event

The 9th annual Local Food Connection is happening on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Lane Community College in Eugene.

We are excited to have the Oregon FolkLife Network host a Fully Fermented Tour on Sunday, February 1st from 12-4pm in Eugene.  The guided walking tour exploring Eugene’s unique food and drink culture boasts a “backstage” look at the people and traditions that make Eugene “Fully Fermented.” Sign up now for the opportunity to discover the distinctive touches that go into some of Eugene’s best beer, cider, and wine.

The Local Food Connection connects local farmers, ranchers and fishermen with area food buyers (chefs, grocery stores, restaurants, and distributors), creating business opportunities that support and sustain our local food supply system.  The day is filled with a keynote address–this year focusing on distribution– a networking session, workshops, and a fabulous local lunch.
